SF is the largest distributor of filmed entertainment in the Nordic region with fully owned operations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
SF acquires rights on the international market for theatrical, video, television and Internet distribution in these markets.
Distribution agreements with independent film companies like Groundswell, Likely Story and Spyglass Entertainment along with individual pick-up acquisitions from prestigious film companies such as Focus Features, IM Global, Pathé, Lionsgate, Summit Entertainment and The Weinstein Company form the basis of this business.
Some of the major releases in latter years have been Sex and the City, Milk, Slumdog Millionaire, District 9, Paranormal Activity, The King’s Speech, Drive, The Ides of March and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
Other long-term strategic partners are Twentieth Century Fox, Warner Bros. and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer on theatrical and video distribution.
